Cartoonist Career Began With 6 Steps - Cartoonist Zone


Cartoonist / Animator job description is provides drawings or animations used in advertising and promotional efforts to amuse audiences or to meet other needs. Uses various methods to communicate the organization's efforts through an assortment of freehand artwork. May prepare artwork for printing or mass production. No formal experience or training necessary. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

I will show you 6 easy steps to create the animation:

#1. Shooting Reference

You need analize before started the animated,especially you are the beginner.Search on Youtube.com for some reference.

#2.Key Poses

This is the most important pose of the shoot. If someone saw, just the alone.That were know exactly what going on the shot.In this case,I have 3 of them :
-           Initial Pose
-           Extreme Pose
-           Pointing Pose

#3. Blocking

We start breaking down the movement from the next by adding :
In Beetweens,Breakdowns,Passing Poses,and many name for it.We keep that until movement is looks good.

#4. Splining

Is the process to convert from step mode to splain.

#5. Smooting & Offset

We need clean up all the curve,make sure all the movement looks smooth.Offset arm’s,head,shoulders,body.

#6. Adding Life

This steps is the most fun because you already done with the ground war of animation and this time to just add the fun stuff or cool stuff.
