There are a lot of  books about how to become cartoonist out there that frankly don’t  cut the mustard
giving out nothing but crappy, unimpressive and often extremely basic tips for for drawing, but the three books you'll find below are the complete opposite. They are absolutely jam packed full of juicy information and guides on how to make the best drawing around and if you’re interested to learning cartoons ... they’re the only way to go!

Book no.1

Most books on cartooning show you how to copy the author’s cartoon style, which in my opinion is a pretty pointless exercise. The Cartoonist' s Workbook is very different. It gives you the means to develop your own unique style and there are even thousands of drawings of useful poses and gag situations that you can easily adapt after you have found that style. But the best part is the chapter on writing gags. Hall gives the reader a
'complete method' for writing gags for spot cartoons and cartoon strips, and it really works. I recommending this book because  are all you really need to make it as a cartoonist.

Book no.2

Creativity, Inc. is a book for managers who want to lead their employees to new heights, a manual for anyone who strives for originality, and the first-ever, all-access trip into the nerve center of Pixar Animation-into the meetings, postmortems, and “Braintrust” sessions where some of the most successful films in history are made. It is, at heart, a book about how to build a creative culture-but it is also, as Pixar co-founder and president Ed Catmull writes, “an expression of the ideas that I believe make the best in us possible.”

It’s one thing to be creative: it’s entirely another-and much more rare-to build a great and creative culture. Over more than thirty years, Ed Catmull has developed methods to root out and destroy the barriers to creativity, to marry creativity to the pursuit of excellence, and, most impressive, to sustain a culture of disciplined creativity during setbacks and success. Pixar’s unrivaled record, and the joy its films have added to our lives, gives his method the most important validation.

Political Cartoonist Vs Cartoon For Kids - Cartoonist Zone

POLITICAL CARTOON

Political cartoons in the sense of the word is the image of banter that contains the message, satire, etc.We often see cartoons in various newspapers. And not infrequently, the first time we see when buying a newspaper is caricature. There is a funny taste, pain, or even sad when he saw a caricature in the paper variety. However, what is the common perception of a caricature? What exactly is the cartoon? How does a caricature of it there?

I must conclude that a caricature portrayed by containing two characteristics:

#1. The existence of satire
#2. The presence of distortion.

"Satire" is defined as an irony, a tragedy-comedy or a parody. Therefore, in it can contain anything unusual, which can laugh, but can also alarming or distressing.

Though a caricaturist can affect a lot of people with the message and impression contained in caricature, he has a "strength" in the caricature he made. David Low, the British caricaturist, is still known to many as a caricaturist who (supposedly) never made Hitler could not sleep due to the caricature he made during World War II. Thomas Nast, cartoonist of the United States, with a caricature ever dropped a strong candidate for president of the United States which has a striking eye-morality during the campaign.

Thus, a caricaturist ideally have the ability to look at issues of social and political good addition to the technical ability to draw caricatures. With it, he can speak to the socio-political developments that occurred at that time. With it he also could represent disappointments that occur around him. Caricaturist was not a hard man to be inspired by it.
